Fully Elastic Sliding Insulation

It is a two-component, fully elastic waterproofing mortar based on cement and liquid polymer.

Areas of Use

  • Insulation under ceramics in wet areas
  • On terraces (with the precondition of covering the top)
  • In swimming pools and water tanks
  • It is applied in horizontal and vertical applications in interior and exterior spaces from the direction of water flow.

Surface Preparation

The application surface should be solid, load-bearing and clean. Oil, press, rust, paint, paraffin and cure residues that will weaken the adherence should be cleaned. Sections with water leakage should be filled. Corners and edges should be chamfered. The surface should be saturated with water before application. Care should be taken to ensure that there is no free water on the ground before starting the application.

To mix up

10 kg of component B (liquid) is added to a clean mixing bucket and 20 kg of component A (powder) is added little by little. It is mixed with a low speed mixer for 4-5 minutes until a homogeneous appearance is achieved. The mixture is rested for 3-5 minutes and then mixed again for 30 seconds. It reaches a consistency ready for application.

Mixing Ratio: Component A / Component B: 2/1

Application

It is applied with a brush. The application should be done in 2 or 3 layers. The brush application direction in each layer should be perpendicular to the previous application.

Points to Consider

  • Do not apply to frozen, melting or frost-prone surfaces.
  • The applied surface should be protected against frost and excessive wind for 3 days.
  • No foreign material should be added.
  • Surfaces that have not completed their cure should not be exposed to water.
  • The ground and ambient temperature where the application will be made should be between +5 °C and +30 °C.
  • 3 days should be waited to cover terrace applications.
  • The mixture should be consumed within 90 minutes.
  • Do not apply to wood, OSB, PVC, bitumen surfaces, painted and metal surfaces.

Packaging

Component A: 20 kg kraft bag — Component B: 10 kg plastic drum

Storage

It should be stored in its unopened original packaging at a temperature between +5°C – +35°C. The product should be protected from direct sunlight and frost.
