Single component, bitumen modified polyurethane based liquid waterproofing and protection material.

Areas of Use

  • In foundations,
  • In roofs, verandas and balconies (provided that they are covered)
  • In wet floors
  • In building units where the insulation material must have high crack bridging properties, it is used horizontally and vertically.

Product Features

  • Cures with moisture in the air.
  • Provides high tensile, tear and abrasion resistance.
  • Exhibits excellent mechanical and chemical properties.
  • It forms a highly elastic and durable film by adhering perfectly to different surfaces.
  • It is effective in water vapor transmission.
  • The film breathes and prevents moisture from accumulating in the lower layer.
  • It has the ability to bridge shrinkage cracks with its elastic structure.

Surface Preparation

The surface to be applied must be dry and clean. Concrete and mold residues must be cleaned mechanically and oil, grease, fuel and paraffin wastes must be cleaned using chemical solvents. Damaged coatings, unstable surfaces and cracks must be repaired with appropriate products. Concrete surfaces to be applied must have at least the following standards: -Hardness: R28= 15 Mpa -Humidity: W <10% -Temperature: 5-35 °C -Relative Humidity: <85%

Application

Priming: After the repair, depending on the surface condition, a primer based on epoxy or polyurethane should be applied and then Bitumen Polyurethane 1K should be applied. Spraying: It is applied by spraying method or by brush or roller in 2 layers with a total consumption of 2kg/m². If the application is planned to be done by spraying method, the material should be thinned with Polyurethane Thinner and then the application should be started.

Storage

It should be stored in its original unopened buckets in dry environments between 5°C and 25°C. Material in opened buckets should be used immediately.
