Semi-Elastic Sliding Insulation

It is a two-component, semi-elastic waterproofing mortar based on cement and liquid polymer.

Areas of Use

  • In vertical and horizontal applications in interior and exterior spaces, from the direction of water coming,
  • On terraces and balconies (provided that they are covered)
  • Basement walls, concrete pipes.
  • In water tanks
  • Under screed and ceramics
  • As a waterproofing material under ceramics in wet areas

Product Features

Surface Preparation

The surface to be applied must be cleared of dust, oil and loose particles that will reduce adherence. Surface defects must be repaired. Edges and corners must be beveled. Before application, the surface must be wetted with clean water and it must be waited until there is no water layer on the surface.

To mix up

5 kg of component B (liquid) is poured into a clean application bucket. 20 kg of component A (powder) is slowly added. It is mixed with a low-speed mixer until it reaches a homogeneous and lump-free consistency. It is rested for 5 minutes; then it is mixed again for about 30 seconds and made ready for application.

Mixing Ratio: Component A / Component B: 4/1 (by weight)

Application

Application should be done with a brush in 2-3 layers. Each layer should be applied perpendicular to the previous one. At least 6 hours should be waited between layers.

Points to Consider

  • Not applicable against negative water pressure.
  • At least 3 days must be waited for ceramic application on it.
  • At least 7 days must be waited for water tanks to be filled with water.
  • The concrete floor on which the application will be made must be at least 28 days old.
  • It must be covered in applications exposed to direct sunlight.
  • Not applicable on wood, OSB, PVC, bitumen surfaces, painted and metal surfaces.

Packaging

20 kg kraft bag – 5 kg plastic drum

Storage

It should be stored in its unopened original packaging at a temperature between +5 °C – +30 °C. The product should be protected from direct sunlight and frost.
