It is a plaster material used in plastering cement-based, polymer-added thermal insulation boards.

Areas of Use

It is used for plastering the surfaces of panels such as extruded and expanded polystyrene, rock wool, glass wool, etc. used for external thermal cladding purposes in buildings.

Surface Preparation

The panels to be applied must be firmly adhered to the surface and must be dry and clean.

To mix up

The appropriate amount of water is poured into a clean mixing container with the help of a scale. Heat Insulation Board Adhesive is added slowly. It is mixed with a low-speed mixer for 3 – 5 minutes until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. The material, which is rested for 5-10 minutes, is ready for use after being mixed again for 20-30 seconds.

Mixing Ratio: For 25 kg of powder: 5.5-6.5 liters of water, for 1 kg of powder: 0.220-0.260 liters of water

Application

A layer of plaster mortar is applied on the boards. Then the plaster mesh is embedded in the first layer. Then the second layer of plaster is applied. If the plaster surface is preferred, it can be smoothed with a wet sponge. After the Coating Board plaster has cured, any coating material application in the preferred color and appearance can be carried out.

Points to Consider

  • In the application of Thermal Insulation Board Adhesive, if the ambient temperature is below +5°C or above +30°C, suitable temperatures should be waited. Application should not be done in extremely hot, rainy or windy weather.
  • Application thickness should be at least 3 and at most 4 mm.
  • Water and new material should never be added to the mixture that has crusted in the container.
  • It should not be applied on surfaces that are frozen, melting or have a risk of frost within 24 hours.
  • The prepared mixture should be consumed within 120 minutes at 20 °C.
